Think where you want to practice, know the submission deadline and begin filling out the application as soon as possible. You'll spend many hours providing details about your work history, personal character and even level of fitness. You should have also taken the Multistate Professional Responsibility Exam (MPRE) by now. Nearly every state requires that you pass it before you can become a licensed lawyer.
