Gerry W. Beyer

Gerry W. Beyer is the Governor Preston E. Smith Regents Professor of Law at Texas Tech University School of Law and a nationally recognized expert in estate planning, wills, and trusts. A prolific author and educator, he has presented hundreds of CLE programs and published extensively in the field of estate law. Professor Beyer has taught at a wide range of institutions, including Boston College, SMU Dedman School of Law, and The Ohio State University. In 2015, he was inducted into the Estate Planning Hall of Fame and is a recipient of the Distinguished Probate Attorney Lifetime Achievement Award by the State Bar of Texas.
