Description

New tax legislation will significantly impact the tax situation of individual taxpayers. The One Big Beautiful Bill Act proposes to eliminate and extend many provisions from the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA). There are new considerations for most aspects of an individual income tax return, including depreciation provisions, the standard deduction, itemized deductions, child credits, and other items. Individuals and tax professionals must understand the modifications and additions being made to properly prepare Form 1040, U.S. Individual Tax Return, calculate estimated tax payments, and plan for future tax obligations.

Listen as our financial planning specialist analyzes the current tax bill and offers strategies to facilitate tax return preparation and lessen tax liability on individual income tax returns.
