Dan Wilson brings a broad set of business skills in finance and operations, leveraging his many years of experience in multiple private equity backed and public companies, which operated across a multitude of industries. In his current role at BARBRI, which began in 2011 with the carve-out from Thomson Reuters, he manages the finance, accounting and legal functions on a global basis.

Prior to joining the BARBRI team in September 2011, Dan held senior finance, corporate development, and operations positions, and led successful roll-ups and exits for a diverse group of media, communication, and technology companies, including GAP Broadcasting; American Community Newspapers; AM/FM, Inc.; and Marcus Cable Properties, Inc. He began his professional career with Arthur Anderson & Co. in Accounting and Audit practice.

In addition to serving in finance capacities, Dan has also assumed many operational roles within the organizations he has touched, including Chief Operating Officer, General Manager, and Publisher.

Dan holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, with majors in Finance and Accounting from Saint Louis University. Originally from Nebraska, he is married with four daughters and two dogs. When not spending time with his family, he enjoys running, snow skiing, reading, college sports, country music, and traveling.
