Coach-Led Strategy Sessions give BARBRI Premium and Elite students direct access to experienced coaches who can help you study more efficiently, prioritize what matters most, tackle exam tasks with confidence, and navigate the realities of bar prep. Whether youʼre working through a specific obstacle or simply want guidance from someone whoʼs helped students succeed before, youʼll leave each session with practical strategies and answers you can use right away. 

How Coach-Led Strategy Sessions Work

Live, focused sessions with BARBRI coaches, plus time to ask your questions.

  • 1. Get Access

    After you add Coach-Led Strategy Sessions to your course, you’ll find a list of available sessions in your BARBRI Personal Study Plan. 

  • 2. Join a Live Session

    Each session is led by a BARBRI coach and zeroes in on one skill or challenge students commonly face, so you leave with strategies you can use the next time you study. The 75-minute sessions are tailored to your exam, whether you're preparing for the legacy bar exam or the NextGen UBE. 

  • 2. Ask Questions

    Submit questions throughout the session. Coaches work behind the scenes the whole time to answer them as they come in, and at least 15 minutes of every session is reserved for live Q&A with your coach. 

Prefer to help set the agenda yourself? NextGen students also get open “Ask the Coaches” sessions with no prepared presentation.

The Most Frequently Asked Questions About Coach-Led Strategy Sessions 

Who Can Purchase Coach-Led Strategy Sessions? 

Students enrolling or already enrolled in BARBRI Premium or BARBRI Elite. They're an add-on to your course and aren't sold as a standalone product.

Are Coach-Led Strategy Sessions Included in BARBRI Elite Bar Review?

No. Elite includes the AdaptiBar MCQ Simulator, AdaptiBar Writing Guide, CriticalPass Cards, and Quimbee SideBar Videos, but Coach-Led Strategy Sessions are a separate add-on for both Premium and Elite students.

How Long is Each Session, and What Happens During Q&A? 

Each session is 75 minutes and held live online. Coaches work behind the scenes throughout to answer the questions you submit, and at least 15 minutes of every session is reserved for live Q&A.

Are the Sessions Different for the Legacy Exam and the NextGen UBE? 

Yes. Sessions are tailored to your exam. Some topics, like Study Smarter and Avoiding Common Bar Prep Mistakes, apply to everyone, while others focus on skills specific to your exam. 

How Do I Get into a Session After I Purchase

After purchasing, you’ll find a list of available sessions in your BARBRI Personal Study Plan (PSP). You can register to attend sessions through the MyBARBRI Connect section of your PSP.  

When Are Sessions Held, and Do I Choose My Own Time?

Sessions are typically held at 6 p.m. ET, with legacy exam sessions on Wednesdays and NextGen exam sessions on Thursdays, though there may be some exceptions to this schedule. All sessions will be listed in the MyBARBRI Connect section of your Personal Study Plan after purchase and once your course becomes available (October 15 for the February exam, and March 15 for the July exam). 

Are Sessions Live Only, or Can I Watch a Replay?

Every live session is recorded and the recording link will be made available in the MyBARBRI Connect section of your Personal Study Plan. Whether you attended live and want to rewatch a session, or missed the live presentation and are seeing it for the first time, the content will be available to you.

Can I Use a Payment Plan for this Add-On? 

Coach-Led Strategy Sessions require payment in full at the time of purchase.
