Professor Chad Noreuil
Criminal Law and Procedure


Chad Noreuil is a Clinical Professor of Law at ASU’s Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law, where he has taught since 2001. He is widely known for his innovative instruction in Criminal Law, Legal Method and Writing, and Bar Preparation Strategies. A former Assistant Attorney General for the State of Illinois, Professor Noreuil has successfully litigated over thirty jury trials, bringing real-world experience into the classroom. He’s also the creator of the popular “Zen of Passing the Bar” seminar, which he delivers at law schools across the country. His published works, including bar prep materials and legal study aids, are widely used by aspiring attorneys nationwide. Professor Noreuil also taught at Washington University School of Law in St. Louis before joining ASU.
