Description

Most lawyers have never seen a so-called "nuclear" verdict, nor do they truly appreciate how one comes into existence. Being able to recognize the types of factors that give birth to nuclear verdicts and recognize the danger before the situation blows up allows counsel and their clients a chance to settle these claims and avoid these verdicts.

Likewise, most attorneys also do not understand the often unprecedented ways that juries actually calculate the dollar amounts awarded and how those methodologies may differ drastically from traditional approaches. This panel will offer insights from actual cases that can help attorneys understand what they are up against.

Listen as this panel provides a detailed analysis of why runaway verdicts occur, how to recognize the symptoms early enough to avoid disaster, and insights into novel ways a jury calculates damages.
