Description

The demands placed on tax professionals particularly during busy season can be overwhelming. Individuals working in this field are constantly pressured to balance efficiency with expeditiousness against hard government deadlines. There is constant interaction with clients while striving to satisfy their expectations, all adding to the immense pressures tax professionals feel throughout the season.

Most tax practitioners have heard of mindfulness, though tax preparation and mindfulness are rarely intertwined. However, mindfulness can enhance innovation, energy, balance, and strength. These gains can generate a feeling of restfulness and a better state of mind, leading to increased efficiency and focus. Understanding the background and concepts of mindfulness, including the science of neurology, can ease tax professionals through tax season.

Listen as our CPA and Mindfulness expert explains the basic concepts of mindfulness specifically for tax advisers and guides us through a brief live guided practice.
