New Hampshire CLE FAQs
New Hampshire attorneys must complete their CLE requirement by May 31.
Newly admitted New Hampshire attorneys who are active for an aggregated total of more than 6 months in the reporting period must comply with the requirements.
- Lawyers admitted between July 1 and December 31 must comply for the year ending the following May 31.
- Lawyers admitted on or after January 1 of the reporting year are exempt from the requirement for the year that ends on that May 31.

How Else Can New Hampshire Lawyers Earn CLE Credit?
- Attend live, in-person CLE courses.
- Teach a qualifying CLE course.
- Author books, law review and journal articles and similar publications treating legal or law-related topics in a scholarly or practical manner and directed primarily to an audience of lawyers, judges and legal assistants.
