Lawyers often deal with distressing cases. In this webinar we aim to support law students and professionals working with topics that could cause trauma, or allow earlier trauma to resurface.
This webinar offers a short introduction to raise awareness of the ways in which lawyers may come into contact with distressing material, heightened emotions and trauma. We will focus on tips and resources to empower and equip law students to support themselves and each other when encountering these experiences in practice. There will be an opportunity for questions, as well as takeaway materials designed to encourage curiosity, continued discussion and self-reflection.
