This CLE webinar will offer attorneys battle-tested and practical strategies and tips for getting the most out of existing AI discovery and litigation tools and also present unvarnished insights about the real state of generative AI and the traps to avoid. The panel will offer demonstrations of gen AI and discuss what tasks it is most suited for, both now and in two to five years.
Faculty

Mr. Diana is a partner in the Emerging Technologies Group and focuses his practice on commercial litigation, internal and regulatory investigations, electronic discovery and information governance, and data privacy and security. He is a recognized leader in e-discovery and information governance issues, nationally ranked in this area by Chambers. Anthony has counseled large financial institutions, pharmaceutical companies and manufacturers on all aspects of the discovery and management of electronic information, including: the development of policies and procedures for the preservation, collection, review, and production of electronically stored information; the development of policies and procedures regarding the governance of information within various technologies, including internal and external social media, WiFi, BYOD, among others; the development of data source catalogues, disclosures, and responses relating to electronically stored information; the remediation of large volumes of legacy data (paper and electronic); and the defense of electronic discovery and information governance policies and procedures before federal regulators and the courts. He has been an editor of the Electronic Discovery Deskbook, a treatise published by PLI, since its original publication in 2009. Mr. Diana is a frequent speaker on electronic discovery and information governance issues and has published numerous articles on these topics.

Mr. Krieger is a counsel in Reed Smith’s Records & E-Discovery team and a founding member of the group, having joined the firm in 2011 as an e-discovery attorney. He brings a unique skill set to Reed Smith, with over 15 years of experience in e-discovery law, a background in computer science, and a Relativity Certified Administrator credential. Mr. Krieger leverages his deep technical understanding and years of experience with technology assisted review to advise case teams and clients on the most efficient and defensible approaches to large-scale document reviews. He also collaborates with case teams to develop creative solutions to complex large document review challenges and provides user training and support for various e-discovery software platforms.
