What is SQE Edge?
SQE Edge has been designed to give you an insight into the SQE assessment format in the SQE1 exam, and to give you experience of how it differs from the types of assessments and exams that most undergraduates will have experienced so far in their education.
The SQE1 exam is a multiple-choice assessment comprising 360 questions and is taken over two days. SQE assesses whether a candidate can apply legal knowledge to a client's problem at the level of a newly qualified solicitor in England and Wales. This legal knowledge is referred to as functioning legal knowledge or FLK. Each day of the exam assesses different subjects.
We recommend that you try all the questions in this course so that you can get a sense of the different requirements for SQE.

Want to Know More About the SQE?
Also known as the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE), is a new centralised assessment for anyone who wants to qualify to become a solicitor in England and Wales.
The SQE consists of two exams: SQE1 tests your Functional Legal Knowledge (FLK) through multiple-choice questions – also called single-best-answer questions; and SQE2 tests your application of this knowledge through written and oral skill assessments. You’ll also need two years of Qualifying Work Experience (QWE) before you can apply to be admitted as a solicitor.
