Sometimes life gets in the way, and you need a second chance. 

BARBRI Bar Review has been developed, designed and optimized to make sure you pass the bar exam the first time. However, we know that sometimes the day doesn’t go like you planned. 

Repeat your BARBRI Bar Review course for the same jurisdiction without paying additional tuition if you don't pass the bar the first time. With BARBRI Bar Review's Free Repeat Guarantee, you may take a BARBRI Bar Review course the next time the exam is offered. 

Enroll with the BARBRI Guarantee

Take advantage of your BARBRI Guarantee by meeting the requirements below for your initially selected plan. 

  • Essentials: If you used BARBRI Essentials to prepare for the July 2026 exam, get one free retake for the February 2027 administration in the same jurisdiction. To qualify, you must have completed 75% of the initial course and provide proof you sat for the bar exam. If you meet these requirements, you will be enrolled in the Premium course for your retake.  

  • Premium and Elite: Get one free Premium retake for the same jurisdiction the next time the course is offered, without paying additional tuition. Exam supplements, including but not limited to AdaptiBar MCQ Simulator, AdaptiBar NextGen MCQ Simulator, AdaptiBar Writing Guide, CriticalPass Cards, or Quimbee SideBar Videos, are excluded from the BARBRI Guarantee. 

  • US Bar Prep (International): Get one free retake of the US Bar Prep (International) course for the same jurisdiction within 12 months of the results date for the original course, without paying additional tuition. Exam supplements, including but not limited to AdaptiBar MCQ Simulator, AdaptiBar NextGen MCQ Simulator, AdaptiBar Writing Guide, CriticalPass Cards, or Quimbee SideBar Videos, are excluded from the BARBRI Guarantee. 

  • Firm Pass: Get one free Premium retake for the same jurisdiction the next time the course is offered, without paying additional tuition. Exam supplements, including but not limited to AdaptiBar MCQ Simulator, AdaptiBar NextGen MCQ Simulator, AdaptiBar Writing Guide, CriticalPass Cards, or Quimbee SideBar videos, are excluded from the BARBRI Guarantee.  

  • Firm Pass Plus: Get one free Premium retake for the same jurisdiction the next time the exam is offered, without paying additional tuition. Exam supplements, including but not limited to AdaptiBar MCQ Simulator, AdapitBar NextGen MCQ Simulator, AdaptiBar Writing Guide, CriticalPass Cards, or Quimbee SideBar videos are excluded from the BARBRI Guarantee. Alternatively, within two years of your original course enrollment, you may enroll in a Premium course in a different jurisdiction at no additional cost.   

Any additional supplements or gifts received with initial enrollment are excluded from BARBRI Guarantee enrollments. 

Course Books for Bar Review Guarantee Students with the BARBRI Bar Review 

Students enrolled in a Guarantee course for Premium, Elite, Firm Pass, or Firm Pass Plus Bar Review may choose to receive a new set of hard copy books. To receive a new set of hard copy books, you must pay a $250 refundable deposit, plus shipping and handling, when you enroll in the Bar Review Guarantee. We will then ship a new set to you. Alternatively, you can forego new hard copy materials and utilize the digital bookshelf available in the Personal Study Plan. 

Students enrolled in a Guarantee course for a US Bar Prep (International) course may choose to receive an entirely new set of hard copy books as part of your tuition-free Guarantee. To do so, you must pay a $295 book fee plus applicable shipping charges. Alternatively, you can forego new hard copy materials and utilize the digital bookshelf available in the Personal Study Plan. 

Returning your BARBRI Course Books is always optional. Items may be returned in any condition, accompanied by the completed Material Return Form, within a single package. The package should be postmarked no later than 30 days after your jurisdiction's exam results are released. If you choose to keep your books from your original course and/or your BARBRI Bar Review Guarantee course, please be aware that you are forfeiting any applicable refundable materials deposit paid during enrollment.
