The role of the lawyer in our modern world is shifting. Changes both within and beyond the legal industry are shaping up a new kind of solicitor. Submit an essay on the topic of what motivates young people to become solicitors in the 21st century for a chance to receive a half-price SQE1 Prep scholarship from BARBRI.

How can I qualify for a BARBRI x Legal Cheek Essay Competition SQE Scholarship?

For a chance to secure the BARBRI x Legal Cheek SQE Scholarship, students should submit an essay of no more than 1,000 words (not including any references) on the subject "What motivates young people to become solicitors in the 21st century?". You should describe your own motivations as part of this discussion.

The successful candidate will receive a 50% discount on their BARBRI SQE1 Prep fees for their chosen course preparing for July 2024 or January 2025 SQE1 exams.

Please note that to be eligible, you must be in your final year of university or a graduate and ready to take the SQE, joining only the applicable courses outlined below.
